Social Action

KTI, in partnership with The Carver Center, Holy Rosary, St. Peter’s, St. Paul’s, All Souls Parish, and St. Frances A.M.E. Zion churches, participated in a very successful Interfaith Thanksgiving Baby Shower in which nearly 100 families with young children were able to get much needed diapers, wipes, ointment and baby formula. To all of the families who donated many, many packages of diapers and baby wipes, and to all of the families and students who donated their time and services at the November 29th event, your efforts and donations were sincerely appreciated by the families who benefited from the program and by our program partners.

Pet Food Drive

Because Pets are People Too.
KTI CARES has undertaken a new initiative to help feed hungry pets in Westchester. KTI's PET FOOD DRIVE will benefit the Hudson Valley Pet Food Pantry. The mission of the HVPFP is to help provide pet food assistance to economically challenged, disabled and elderly residents of the Hudson Valley region in New York. Their furry and feathered friends need wet & dry cat food, wet & dry dog food, and bird seed. Donations will be collected Monday through Friday at the KTI Office or Synagogue Building. For more information please call Eileen Stein at (914) 815-2712.

KTI Feeds.

KTI FEEDS is our continued commitment to feeding Westchester residents who are hungry or at risk of hunger by donating food each week to the Interfaith Food Pantry at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church in Port Chester. While donated food is often used in preparation of meals at the Interfaith Soup Kitchen, it is also periodically distributed to supplement families’ grocery needs. KTI’s donations brought relief and joy to hundreds of families during the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays. A sincere “Thank You” to all who have given. Please make giving routine by committing to a weekly contribution of canned goods, pasta, cereal, beans, etc. Donations are accepted Monday thru Friday at the KTI Office or the food collection bin in the synagogue building.  Find out more!

KTI has joined with All Souls Parish to tend the Interfaith Garden at Port Chester's J.F. Kennedy Magnet School. Find out more!
